Teagan Smickle joined Tae Kwon Do in 2006 at age 8 feeling it would be a place to show off and learn flips and kicks. Later on she learned that Tae Kwon Do is about believing in yourself and trusting in others to get you where you need to be.
Teagan just completed her freshman year at LaGrange College in Georgia pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing. She made the Dean’s list, and is a member of student government. She is also very involved in the church. She has gone on six mission trips (2 in Florida, 1 in Cherokee NC, 2 in Georgia, and 1 in Puerto Rico) and is currently leading a youth group with 6th and 7th grade girls in LaGrange, GA.
Teagan earned her 1st Dan Black Belt/Kukkiwon in 2012 and her 2nd Dan in October 2014. She is currently a part-time senior instructor at Pasadena Community Church.
