Krystal White joined Hyde Tae Kwon Do in 2006 at the age of five and earned her black belt in 2011. School and volleyball forced her to quit Hyde Tae Kwon Do soon after, but she joined State of the Art Tae Kwon Do in 2015 after her mother and brother began training with the South Pasadena Location. She earned her 1st Dan Black Belt in October of 2016, and is currently a junior instructor at the South Pasadena location. She says Tae Kwon Do has helped her learn discipline and self-motivation, two traits that have become integral in her education.
Krystal attends St. Petersburg Collegiate High School at St. Petersburg College, where she is set to graduate in May with her high school diploma and Associates degree. She enjoys school and was recently named a National Merit Scholar Semifinalist. She plans to major in Theology next year, although she wants to study everything, and aims at becoming a pastor.
